Thomas J. Mastor - Chief Executive Officer & President

Thomas J. Mastor is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Dominion Bank and Dominion Bancshares. Mr. Mastor has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sovereign Bancshares, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Sovereign Bank, a $1.0 billion asset bank based in Dallas, Texas operating from 10 banking offices in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Houston, and Austin. Mr. Mastor co-founded the bank in July 2004 and was CEO through its sale to Veritex Holdings, Inc./Veritex Community Bank in July 2017. Before joining Sovereign, he was a partner with Western International, a regional hotel development company, where he had direct oversight over all financial, partnership, equity capital and legal matters, as well as strategic planning. Mr. Mastor has served on the Board of Directors of Veritex Holdings, Inc. (VBTX), Sovereign Bank, the Dallas Arboretum, The Senior Source and Bent Tree Country Club. Mr. Mastor graduated cum laude from SMU with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and real estate.

R. Michael Russell - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Russell is Chief Financial Officer and a director of Dominion Bank and Dominion Bancshares. Mr. Russell has more than 35 years of banking experience, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Sovereign Bancshares, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Sovereign Bank. He served as Chief Financial Officer of each entity from 2005 through the date of its sale to Veritex Holdings, Inc. / Veritex Community Bank in July 2017. Before joining Sovereign, Mr. Russell served in numerous financial officer positions at Compass Bank over his approximately 14 year tenure with the bank, after serving as Chief Financial Officer for Promenade Bancshares, Inc. for approximately 8 years. Mr. Russell began his business career as a senior auditor with Arthur Young & Co (now Ernst & Young, PLLC), where he served for 3 years. He has been licensed by the State of Texas as a certified public accountant since 1982. Mr. Russell earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of North Texas.

Kim Myers – Director of Deposit & Digital Services

Kim Myers serves as the Director of Deposit & Digital Services for Dominion Bank and is responsible for treasury sales, retail, fraud, deposit and treasury operations. Ms. Myers has over 35 years of commercial banking experience, focused primarily in Treasury Management sales management, product development, strategic planning and risk management. She most recently served as Director of Specialty Treasury at Independent Financial where she led the vertical expansion of specialty deposit portfolios. Ms. Myers provided treasury consulting services for Texas community banks through Kim Myers & Associates from 2006 to 2009. She also held management positions at Amegy Bank and Bank of Texas prior to joining Tom Mastor at Sovereign Bank in 2009.

Derek Norton - Chief Risk Officer

Derek Norton serves as the Chief Risk Officer for Dominion Bank. Derek has over 20 years of banking experience, all of which has been in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, and substantial experience evaluating and monitoring risk with FDIC-insured financial institutions. Previously, Mr. Norton served with President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Mastor and Chief Financial Officer R. Michael Russell at Sovereign Bank as Senior Vice President/Risk Management Officer. Before joining Sovereign Bank, he served for several years in various roles in credit and as a commercial loan officer. Mr. Norton is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, and the University of Dallas, where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Corporate Finance.

Linda Russell - Chief Accounting Officer

Linda Russell is the Chief Accounting Officer for Dominion Bank. Starting as a teller nearly 40 years ago, she has extensive banking experience encompassing numerous positions in branch operations, deposit operations, and accounting. Ms. Russell served with Mr. Mastor and Mr. Russell at Sovereign Bank as Senior Vice President/Controller. Most recently, she was the Controller at Titan Bank, Dallas where her duties included managing branch and deposit operations and serving as the bank’s Security/Compliance Officer, in addition to her accounting responsibilities.

Stephanie Velasquez - Dallas Market President

Stephanie Velasquez serves as the Dallas Market President for Dominion Bank. Ms. Velasquez began her banking career as a National Bank Examiner with the Comptroller of the Currency where she was charged with regulatory oversight of banks in the Southwestern District from 1984 through 1995. She then served as Senior Vice President of First National Bank of Park Cities and its successor Bank of Texas where she was a senior commercial lender. She joined Tom Mastor at Sovereign Bank at its inception in 2004, where she served as Market President and was responsible for the bank’s largest location in Preston Center. Ms. Velasquez is a graduate of Baylor University where she earned Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Paul Voorhies - Chief Lending Officer

Paul Voorhies is the Chief Lending Officer for Dominion Bank. Mr. Voorhies has more than 30 years of commercial and investment banking experience in Texas and the Southwest. He has built and managed commercial banking platforms in North Texas for several commercial banks including MidFirst Bank, F&M Bank, and First American Bank. His background includes oversight of various commercial banking lines of business including: Commercial & Industrial, Equipment Finance, Private Banking, SBA, Treasury Management, and International Banking. Prior to joining Dominion Bank, Mr. Voorhies was most recently the Dallas Market President for MidFirst Bank ($20B assets) where he spearheaded the bank’s expansion into Texas with the opening of a full-service commercial bank office in the Dallas Uptown area. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Northeast Louisiana University and his Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
